Theatre artist and director Erdal Beşikçioğlu wants to create an original approach to George Büchner’s Woyzeck play with this performance. He stages this well-known play in a rock musical version, including movement with physical body and video art. He focuses on the phenomena of being human, grace, kindness and morals of human beings. How these features evolve in relation to social statues and human relations are being questioned in the musical.
Woyzeck’s Tale is performed in Tatbikat Sahnesi, Ankara; Zorlu Performance Arts Centre, İstanbul and Uniq Hall Performance Centre, İstanbul; also, as a part of 5th Nilüfer Theatre Festival, Bursa.
