As part of “Secret Journey: Final Exam 5S” of Secret Journey series, ‘Aesthetics in Destruction’ is created by Deniz Atlı, after finding out German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen’s sensational words about 9/11 in New York City. It aims to search for ‘what a destruction brings with it?’, ‘how people react to it or deal with it?’.
This part of the ‘’Secret Journey’’ performance series was part of a residency in Dock 11 Berlin. Aesthetics in Destruction is performed as collaboration with School of Hard Knocks and Yoshiko Chuma.
